Box 4.0
Box 4.0 - Red Light. Green Light.
As the sprawl of urban metropolis continues to expand into the depths of the suburbs and beyond, the length people must travel to and from work continues to expand as well. Everyday, millions of people spend countless hours on roads and freeways, caught in the ever-increasing congestion. In Box 4.0, From the Shadows takes a look at who controls the traffic, going Italian Job style into the bowels of the LA County ATSAC (Automated Traffic Surveillance and Control) Center and testing the system’s vulnerabilities and the widespread implications of a security breach. Next, Yoshi shows users a cheap, easy, do-it-yourself method to fix scratches on PSP and iPod screens. We also meet back up with Robert Heron, who shows us how to “eternalize” your collection of video games by centrally archiving them onto your PC hard drive, negating the need for CD-ROMs or other software. After leaving, we explore the possibility of externally altering the L.A. traffic system, meeting a special guest to determine if the average citizen can, indeed, control the flow of traffic.
